Our bed and breakfast has the guest rooms on the first and second floor of our rectory. Unfortunately, our guest rooms are not wheelchair accessible. The guest rooms all have their own modern bathroom (en suite). We offer ample (free) parking and free Wi-Fi. During the high season (May to September) a minimum stay of 2 nights applies. Do you have a specific preference for a room? Then you can indicate this with your reservation request.

FAQ

Check-in and check-out

From what time can I check in? Guests are expected on the day of arrival between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., later only in consultation. We would like to ask you, if possible, to let us know in advance what time you will arrive. This way we can provide a warm welcome! In case of delays you can always reach us by phone.

What is the latest time for me to check out? On the day of departure, you are requested to leave your room before 11:00 am.

Can I temporarily leave my luggage with you? This is negotiable based on availability. However, we do not have a guarded facility. Storing luggage is therefore always at your own risk.

Cancel and change

You can cancel free of charge up to 5 days (until noon at the latest) before the check-in date, after which the first night of your reservation will be charged to you. We always confirm your cancellation. Of course it is annoying when guests cancel their reservation. Because we assume that you are doing this with good reason, you do not owe us any further costs and we hope to welcome you another time.

Payments

What is included in the price? The prices are per night per room and include breakfast.

Can I pay with a credit card? We are a small-scale B&B where we cannot offer credit card facilities. You can pay in advance by bank transfer or cash on site.

When is payment expected? Preferably upon arrival but at the latest upon check-out. Payment at a later time is unfortunately not possible.

Facilities of the B&B

Is there WIFI in the B&B? Yes, WIFI is available throughout the B&B.

Which areas are shared with the other guests? The living room, outdoor area, garden, swimming pool and sauna are for shared use.

Can the sauna be used? The sauna can be used in consultation (with the other guests) for a maximum of 4 people at the same time. Use of sauna costs €15.00 for 3 hours. You can bring your own bathrobe and towel or rent it from us for €2.50 pp.

When is the swimming pool open? Opening of the swimming pool is seasonal. The time at which the heating of the water is started depends on the weather conditions. When the pool is in use again, you can swim daily between 08:30 and 23:00, provided that the other guests are not inconvenienced. Drinks in a glass in and on the edge of the pool are not allowed.

Where can I rent a bicycle? You can rent bicycles at Oma Neeske in Netersel, reservation in advance is advisable.

Can I smoke in your B&B? Smoking is allowed in the outdoor area provided that it does not disturb other guests.

Facilities of the guest rooms

How many sleeping places are there per room? Each bedroom is equipped for 2 persons. An extra mattress can be arranged upon request. The costs for a third person are €25.

We like to sleep in our own bed, can you move the beds apart? The beds cannot be separated. The Brocante room and the Pastorie Suite are made up with a double duvet as standard. If you would like the bed to be made up with two single duvets, please state this in your reservation request.

Visitors, children and pets

Do you have a cot available? There are art objects everywhere in and around our B&B. We are careful with this and to prevent possible damage, we have chosen not to receive children between 1 and 11 years old. That is why there is no cot available.

Can I bring my pet? Unfortunately, we do not allow animals in our B&B (unless you are traveling with a goldfish; we can turn a blind eye to that!). In addition to practical and hygienic reasons, we also do this to ensure that every guest feels comfortable.

Can we receive friends and family in the B&B? Our B&B is unfortunately only accessible to guests. Would you like to enjoy our B&B with a few family members or friends? Then you can book all guest rooms and stay with us together.

Accessibility for the disabled

Is the B&B wheelchair accessible? No, our B&B is not wheelchair accessible.

I am disabled or have difficulty walking, is this a problem? Because B&B D'Oude Pastorie is located in a historic monumental building, there are several floors without the presence of a lift. Unfortunately, you cannot stay here if you cannot take the stairs.

Food options and dietary requirements

From and until what time can we have breakfast? Breakfast is served at a time of your choice between 07:00 and 10:00.

Can you provide a gluten-free breakfast? We can take most allergies into account in consultation.

Is there a refrigerator? In the outdoor area is a table model refrigerator. This can also be used by the guests.

Can I prepare a meal myself? You can prepare a simple meal in the outdoor area. A microwave, a grill plate, a BBQ and a one-burner camping gas burner are available for this purpose. Crockery, cutlery and a shared fridge are also provided there. We assume that when using this you ensure that it is returned to its place clean and washed.

Can we barbecue outside? Gourmet, fondue and grilling is only allowed in the outdoor area, BBQ and only on the terrace or lawn in front of the outdoor area.

Can I have a meal delivered? Yes this is possible. There are a number of restaurants that deliver in the region, we can advise you.

Are there good restaurants in the area? Hell yes. Several restaurants are available within a radius of 10 kilometers. We are more than happy to recommend some delicious local restaurants. We have tested most of them ourselves!

Is there a supermarket nearby? The nearest supermarket is about 5 kilometers away from our B&B.

Accessibility and the region

Where can I park? Our B&B has sufficient parking space for our guests. However, parking is always at your own risk.

Is the B&B accessible by public transport? Unfortunately, our bed and breakfast is difficult to reach by public transport.

Do you offer airport transfers or other transfers? No, unfortunately we are not able to arrange transport for you. There are various taxi companies active in the region, such as Taxi de Kempen (Casteren) and Taxi Coppens de Mulder (Reusel). Booking in advance is necessary.

Is your B&B a good base to explore the rest of the Netherlands? Our B&B is located in the south of the Netherlands, close to the Belgian border. If you like to explore cities such as Amsterdam and Rotterdam, you should take into account a travel time of at least 1 to 2 hours by car, longer by public transport. Our B&B is therefore especially suitable if you want to explore the Kempen or North Brabant.
